Anti-polio drive in Balochistan from Dec 24
QUETTA: In collaboration with Unicef and WHO, Health Department Balochistan will kick off anti-polio campaign in seven districts of the province from December 24.
During the campaign, the Health Department teams will administer anti-polio drops to children in seven districts including Quetta, Pashin, Killa Abdullah, Nasirabad, Jafarabad, Jhal Magsi and Lasbella. The three-day anti-polio drive will continue for three days. Unicef spokesman Sarwar Sodai has appealed to the parents to ensure administering anti-polio vaccine to their children in order to save them from possible disability. Earlier, the campaign had to be kicked off from December 14 but had to be postponed due to some reasons.
