Bomb blast injures man damages NATO tanker

SIBI: A bomb blast near a hotel in Sibi has injured the driver of a NATO oil tanker and damaged the vehicle here on Tuesday morning. According to police, the drivers parked NATO oil tankers near a local hotel in Sibi at night. During the night time, unidentified man placed two tin boxes carrying bombs under the tankers.

When at morning time, a driver Khan Badshah switched on the vehicle and started to drive away, a bomb placed under it ripped through with powerful sounds, injuring the driver and damaging the vehicle. Windowpanes of a nearby mosque, hotel and shops were also smashed. The injured driver was rushed to nearby hospital.

Law enforcement agency personnel reached the spot and defused another bomb placed under another tanker. The police have registered a case and started further investigation.
