JUI-JI hold “Go-America-Go rally” in Quetta

QUETTA, Dec 11: The activities of Jamaat-e-Islami (JI) and Jamiat-Ulma-
e-Islam (JUI) on Friday took out a protest rally in connection with “go
America go” campaign and staged a demonstration outside Quetta Press Club on
Friday.

The rally after passing through various roads of the city changed into a
demonstration in front of Quetta Press club.

Participants of rally were carrying placards and banners inscribed with
various demands. They were also shouting full-throat anti- American slogans
such as “Go America Go”.

Addressing on the occasion, JUI leader Moulana Noor Muhammad, JI leader Abdul
Kabir Shakkir and others strongly criticised the policies of America and
said: “US is trying to suppress the Muslims and plunder their resources”.

They termed 9/11 a well conceived conspiracy of America to kick off its
aggressive designs against Muslims and attacked Afghanistan that claimed
lives of thousands of innocent people.

They alleged that due to wrong policies of rulers country was passing
through a critical situation and the security and integrity of the country
were at stake.

They alleged rulers in order to please America had launched military
operation against their own people and hundreds of people had been killed in
Swat and Waziristan so far.

They said that rulers should understand the nefarious designs of America
against Pakistan and should immediately halt military operation in the
country.

They also condemned the new American Afghan policy and warned that constant
presence of American troops in the region would further cause
destabilisation.

They also criticised Balochistan Package and demanded of the government for
taking practical steps for solution of problems of Balochistan, stopping use
of force and recovering all missing persons.
