Munir Jan leaves as Director Public Relations (DPR)

QUETTA: Renowned travelogue writer Noor Khan Muhammad Hasni has been appointed as Director Public Relations, Government of Balochistan, with immediate effect.

An official announcement said here Thursday that Munir Ahmad Jan has been directed to report to CM Secretariat.

As the director public relations, Munir Ahmad Jan, the outgoing DPR, developed very friendly and cooperative relations with the media in Balochistan. He was very popular among the journalists due to his cooperation. He was well-known among the English press for his excellent writing skills and availability to journalists all the time whenever approached for official information.

He also remarkably helped the journalists during various official functions. The journalists’ community in Quetta appreciated the services of Munir Ahmed Jan during his stint as the DPR.
