Naela Qadiri Baloch welcomes launching of the Baloch Hal

QUETTA: Professor Naela Quadri Baloch, a member of the Central
Committee of  Baloch Republican Party (BRP) and a prominent
nationalist leader of Balochistan, has deeply admired the launching of
the Baloch Hal, Balochistan’s first online English newspaper.
In a message of felicitation to the Baloch Hal team on Friday, the
renowned Baloch political and social leader said she extended her
congratulations on behalf of Baloch Republican Party for such a
“tremendous effort” to highlight the Baloch perspective.
“Absence of our own media has always been a hurdle to bring our nation
at a common consensus and to raise and include our issues in
international agenda. Today Baloch nation is facing a heinous
genocidal operation in eastern and western Balochistan but at the same
time Baloch resistance movement has gained attention of peoples of the
world who believe in human dignity, respect of a nation’s identity and
discipline of peaceful coexistence,” she said.
Professor Baloch said the launching of Baloch Hal was a significant
achievement of young Baloch journalists and hoped that the newspaper
would highlight Balochistan’s case internationally.
She also offered her full support to the new newspaper by saying that
she stood for freedom of press and her party would always speak in
support of a free press. ” We would like to assure you our full
support and our best wishes are with you,” she vowed in her message
sent to the Baloch Hal team.
