PPL assures basic facilities to people after exploitation of natural resources

QUETTA, Dec 24: The Managing Director Pakistan Petroleum Limited (PPL) Khalid Rehman has said that PPL is conducting survey in different districts of Balochistan for the exploration of oil and gas and assured provision of basic facilities to the people of area after exploitation of natural resources.

He was briefing a meeting presided over by the Chief Minister Balochistan Nawab Muhammad Aslam Raisani at Chief Minister’s Secretariat.

MD PPL Khalid Rehman said that survey for the exploration of oil and gas was underway in Nushki, Naukundi, Dhaadar, Kalat and Mastung districts while survey was also being in progress in Barkhan and Sui.

He assured that PPL would provide basic facilities to the people of the areas from where oil and gas would be discovered while job opportunities would also be created for the local people.

He also assured that PPL before starting projects would take local administration into confidence and all arrangements would be made to protect the atmosphere of area from pollution. He also proposed that a committee be constituted in connection with law and order matters
