PPO transfers Awaran Police Station case to Crimes Branch

KHUZDAR, Dec 2: Provincial Police Officer Balochistan Syed Javaid Shah Bukhari has ordered transfer of Awaran Police Station looting case to Crimes Branch police.

According to details some 30 to 35 unknown armed men had ransacked Awaran Police Station a few days back and looted arms and ammunition worth millions of Rupees. While fleeing, they had also kidnapped four police officials whom they set free in Mangli area of Mashkay.

A special team of Crimes Branch police would visit Awaran and record statements of police officials kidnapped and released by unknown persons.
