Protest staged against PPL in Sui

QUETTA, Dec 1: The children of retired and deceased employees of Pakistan Petroleum Limited (PPL) organized a rally in Sui on Tuesday in favor of their demands urging the
PPL management to change its discriminatory attitude towards the local people.
They raised slogans demanding of the federal government and high-ups of the PPL to ensure the provision of jobs to local people.
Business community in Sui brought business activities to standstill to express solidarity with the protesting children.
Addressing to the participants, Baran Bugti, President Sui PPL workers union, Ameen Bugti, Rustam Bugti and others alleged that local people were being denied jobs in local gas companies. They demanded for action against the companies who were not accepting the genuine demands of the local people for provision of jobs.
