Raisani thanks people for maintaining peace during Moharam

QUETTA: Nawab Aslam Khan Raisani on Tuesday expressed gratitude to the people of the province and appreciated the role of law enforcing agencies for maintaining peace during the Holy Month of Moharam and especially on 10th Ashura.

In a statement issued here he strongly condemned the suicide attack on Ashura procession at Karachi and said that perpetrators of such heinous acts had no link with religion or humanity.

He appealed to the people to keep vigil on such elements and not allow the terrorists to disturb the peace of the country.
