Target killing aimed at to destroy peace, education of province: Kurd

QUETTA: Federal Minister for Livestock and Dairy Development Hammayun Aziz Kurd on Thursday condemned the target killing of functionaries of the Education Department and said that some elements were out to keep the province deprived of goods teachers and quality education.

Talking to media persons during his visit to the election office of PPP candidate Tahir Mehmood he along with other leading politicians including Senator Haji Lashkari Khan Raisani, PMAP leaders Abdul Rahim Ziaratwal, Abdul Qahar Khan Wadan and Naik Muhammad of ANP said that the people of the province would not allow anybody to intimidate and forcibly oust doctors, teachers and other experts serving the people of the province.

They said that the killing of Education Minister Shafiq Ahmed Khan was a terrorism which was continuation of the malicious campaign against Education of the province.

They said that all democratic and pro masses forces would support Tahir Mehmood, a brother of late education minister Shafiq Ahmed Khan in the by elections scheduled to be held on December 23, this years.
