Three killed, one injured in Mustung violent incidents

QUETTA, Dec 20:  Three people were killed and another was wounded in two separate incidents of violence that occurred in Mastung District some 50 kilometers away from Quetta on Sunday.

According to reports reaching here, unidentified armed people sprayed bullets on a group of people who were sitting in the house of Tehsil Nazim Sardar Mehrab Mohim Khan in Mastung.

As result, Muhammad Hashim Khan and Farrukh received critical wounds and succumbed to their injuries on the spot. Another person identified as Nihal khan sustained critical injuries and was rushed to hospital for treatment. Later on, doctors referred him to Quetta for further treatment after providing him first medical aid.

The assailants escaped from the site after committing crime.

Police handed over the bodies to heirs after completing legal formalities and started investigation.

Motive behind the incident is stated to be old enmity.

In another similar incident, a person was shot dead in Mastung.

Reports said that a person namely Din Muhammad was on his way to market when unknown armed men riding on a motorbike opened indiscriminate firing on him that resulted in on his spot death.

Police shifted body to hospital for autopsy and registered a case.

Defunct BLA has claimed the responsibility of killing of Din Muhammad.
Calling from an unknown location spokesman of banned outfit said Din Muhammad was an agent of government and he was working against interests of Balochs.
