Three killed two injured in landmine blast

QUETTA: Dec 24: At least three people were killed and two others sustained serious wounds in a landmine explosion in Dera Bugti district on Thursday.

According to reports reaching here, a group of people were on their way in Pelawagh area of Dera Bugti when suddenly one of them stepped on a landmine laid by unknown persons. Resultantly, two persons identified as Saifullah, Shah Gul and Bawal received critical wounds and succumbed to their injuries before reaching hospital.

Two other persons were also sustained multiple injuries and rushed to the hospital for treatment. The condition of injured persons was stated to be serious.

Police handed over the bodies to heirs after completing legal formalities.

Police has started investigation into the incident.
