Two persons including a policeman wounded in bomb blast
QUETTA, Dec 26: A police man and another person were reportedly wounded in two separate bomb blasts occurred in Hub industrial town of Balochistan on Saturday night.
According to reports reaching here, unidentified people lobbed a hand grenade at a house owned by Abdul Wahid located at Allahabad town near football ground. Hand grenade went off with a big bang and scattered windowpanes of the house. However, no loss of life was reported in the blast.
In the meanwhile, another explosive device planted near vehicle of SP Investigation Abdullah Afridi in Allahabad town exploded and caused minor injuries to a police man identified as Muhammad Pana and another person. The blast also scattered the windscreen of the vehicle.
Police sources said that blast was carried out through a remote controlled device and the real target was police officials.
Soon after the blasts police and personnel of other law enforcement agencies reached the site and cordoned off the area.
No group has claimed responsibility for the attacks so far.
