Angry protestors block Quetta-Chaman highway

CHAMAN: Angry protestors blocked Quetta-Chaman highway at Kozhak pass Friday following FC firing to stop their fertilizers truck.

According to details, dozens of trucks were carrying fertilizers from Quetta to Chaman. FC personnel stopped them at Kozhak Top and opened fire. Tyres of several trucks were burst. Truck drivers got infuriated and tried to block the highway. Drivers were demanding checking smuggling of fertilizers along Pak-Afghan border and stop staff of Garang Check post form taking bribe. Stopping their vehicles at highway is unjust.

On information police reached the site and dispersed the trucks drivers and opened the road.
