Anti-polio drive completed in Balochistan’s 17 districts

QUETTA: Health Department teams have completed their operation to administer anti-polio drops to millions of children in 17 districts of Balochistan.

According to a statement issued here on Friday, Dr Ayyub Kakar, provincial head Extension Program for Vaccination EPI said three day anti-polio campaign had achieved its targets in 17 districts of the province. He maintained with collaboration of UNICEF and other organizations, thousands of volunteers performed their services during the campaign.

He hoped Balochistan would get status of polio-free province soon.
