Asia Foundation donates 3000 books to UoB Library

QUETTA Jan 21: Asia Foundation Islamabad gave away more than 3000 books to the Central Library of University of Balochistan here Thursday.

These books were presented at one day book fair held at the UoB here today. Pro Vice Chancellor Dr Rasool Bakhsh Raisani inaugurated the Mela and Manager Asia Foundation Syed Zahid Abbas gave away books. Chief Librarian Professor Syed Hassan Jamali, Director General Dr Naeem Farooqi, Director HR Muhammad Tariq, teachers and students attended in large number.

Speaking on the occasion Pro VC said that University has a modern and big library equipped with all facilities according to modern requirements playing important role for the promotion f education in the province.

Appreciating Asia Foundation assistance, he said it has provided books of modern technology. It would greatly help male and female students in their respective sphere of study.
