Balochistan govt receives 38,000 applications for jobs
QUETTA: Chief Secretary Balochistan Nasir Mehmood Khosa has said the Balochistan government had received 38,000 applications of graduates seeking government jobs.
Presiding over a meeting here on Sunday to review provision of jobs to graduates under the Aghaz-i-Huqooq-i-Balochistan package, he said after scrutiny process, these applications were being dispatched to commissioners, DCOs and all government departments.
He noted the government had decided to ensure merit only criterion for recruitment besides adopting Recruitment Policy of 1991 and zonal allocation.
He mentioned candidates might contact with Employment Cell established at S&GAD Department adding their list would also be pasted on website, which would be announced through newspapers.
He stressed the need to point out fake local and domicile certificates and bogus degrees of the applicants so that only eligible candidates could get jobs.
He noted the government in first phase will be providing jobs to 5,000 graduates on merit while remaining jobs would be provided in other phases.
