Cold grips Quetta

QUETTA: Weather has turned cold in Quetta Valley and other parts of Balochistan following light rain and snowfall over the hill tops.

According to details, a rainy weather hit Quetta Valley and other parts of the province last night. Four millimeters of rain were fallen. Several parts received rain. Three mm of rains were recorded in Dalbandin, 2 mm in Nok Kundi, 3.2 in Zhob, 1.2 in Sibi, 2 mm in Kalat, 0.8 mm in Khuzdar, 8 mm in Panjgur, 18 in Turbat and 4.8 in Gwadar during the past 24 hours.

Weather also remained cloudy in the Valley today. Minimum temperature recorded here Sunday was 1 Celsius and maximum 13 Celsius.

Met office has predicted cloudy weather with chances of rain/thunderstorm in most parts of Balochistan during the coming 24 hours.
