Conspiracies to pit Balochs against Pashtuns: Sardar Akhtar Mengal

QUETTA: President of Balochistan National Party and former chief minister of Balochistan Sardar Akhtar Mengal has said that conspiracies were being hatched to embattle Baloch and Pashtoons in which authoritative forces and unfortunately Baloch Pashtoon were also involved.

This was stated by the Baloch nationalist leader in his telephonic address on the first death anniversary of Abdul Ali Kakar, a veteran champion of Baloch-Pashtun unity, on Tuesday.

ANP leader Dr Inayatullah Khan,  BNP leader Habib Jalib Baloch, PPP leader Bismillah Kakar, Abdul Wali Kakar (BNP)  and others also spoke on the occasion.

Akhtar Mengal said that Malik Abdul Ali Kakar’s struggle is not hidden to any one for the country and the province. He struggled not only for Balochistan and the country but he was voice for all the oppressed nations of the world. For this he was punished but he never left the truth.

He said rulers have left the people at price spiral, poverty and suicide jackets manufactured by extremists. He said there is no difference in the policies of the government in office and previous dictator. He aid still innocent people were suffering jails and extra constitutional and extra legal arrests and operation was underway.  He said despite announcement of Balochistan package Baloch were gifted dead bodies. No wise nation can accept such packages in reward to blood of its youth.

Akhtar Mengal said that we have to think o f better system and situation or withdraw from our dignity, national entity, culture and resources and coast. He said we have to struggle unitedly so that our honour is not hurt.

He appealed to political parties of Balochistan to further their struggle through organized force.
