Eight of one family injured in gas slander explosion

QUETTA: At least eight persons, including women and children, were injured in Quetta on Sunday after a gas slander exploded unexpectedly while another victim of a similar explosion from Ghandawa thesil of Jhal Magsi district died in a Karachi hospital after succumbing to her injuries.

According to the details, eight members of one family were injured in an explosion of a gas slander at a residence on Khuda-e-dad chowak off Kasi Road. The blast badly damaged the house. The injured who got burns on their body were identified as Saima, Nosheen, Pervez, Sofia, Sonia,Masooma, Sadia, Bilal. They were shifted to Burns Ward of Civil Hospital in Quetta. The causes of the explosion could not be ascertained.

Meanwhile, another woman who had received injuries in a similar case of slander explosion died on Sunday in Karachi Ghandawa area of Jahal Magsi, after succumbing to her injuries four days after the incident. She had been shifted to Karachi for treatment but died four days later.
