Four foreigners arrested near Chaman

CHAMAN: SDPO Chaman Zia Mandokhail Tuesday said Chaman police has nabbed four foreigners and their Pakistani driver when they were heading to Quetta city after entering Pakistan through Pak-Afghan border near Chaman.

He maintained acting on a tip-off; a Chaman police party intercepted a private car on Boghra Road and arrested the suspected foreigners and their Pakistani driver. He noted earlier they had entered Afghanistan from Iran and later Pakistan.

“The apprehended foreigners have introduced themselves as Iranian nationals, however, they could not show passport or any other relevant documents”, he said.

He added an investigation team of law enforcement agencies had continued interrogation from the suspected persons.
