Grenade attacks in Gwadar and Quetta, one killed

QUETTA Jan 1: A person was killed in hand grenade attack in Gwadar while another was hurled at the residence of a police official in Quetta on Friday.

According to reports reaching here, unidentified people hurled a hand grenade at tandoor (bread shop) in New town area of Gwadar. The hand grenade exploded and killed a person identified as Ghous-ud-Din.  He is stated to be resident of Quetta.

In another incident, unidentified people lobbed a hand grenade on the resident of police official located at GRO colony which was exploded near gate and scattered windowpanes of the building. No loss of life was reported in the attack.

Moreover, unknown persons hurled a hand grenade at a house owned by Doctor Zarar at Haider colony.

Hand grenade landed inside the house and exploded smashing windowpanes of the house.  Luckily no body was hurt in grenade blast.
