Karachi Fishing trawler confiscated, two held

HUB: A Krachi fishing trawler was confiscated while fishing with restricted net near Pasni along Balochistan coast and two persons were rounded up.

According to details, Fisheries Department on the directives of its minister Hamal Kalmati impounded a fishing trawler from Karachi when it not only violated Balochistan waters but was engaged in fishing with illegal and banned net near Pasni. Two persons were arrested and fish caught by them was also taken into custody.

Challan of arrested persons would be filed in court of law while fish captured would be auctioned and income thus achieved would be deposited in national exchequer.
