Mortar explosion hurts three cops in Washuk
KHARAN: Three policemen were injured when a mortar shell exploded inside a police station in Washuk on Friday.
According to an official, the mortar shell was lying in the store of police station. The shell was recovered by the police from Basima town in November 2009 which was fired by unknown people.
On Friday, the shell exploded due to unknown reasons injuring three police officials identified as Abdul Rasheed, Habibullah and Muhammad Aslam. Two of the injured were shifted to Quetta in view of their worst conditions.
Police have started investigations.
