NATO oil tanker falls into ravine

CHAMAN: Cleaner of an oil tanker was killed and driver sustained injuries in Kozhak Pass Tuesday.

According to details, a NATO oil tanker was carrying oil for troops in Kandahar.  When it reached near Shela Bagh, tanker skidded off the road and fell down the deep ravine when the driver lost control over the vehicle due to dilapidated condition of the road. Driver Sarfraz and Cleaner Hashmatullah sustained injuries while the oil spilled from the tanker.  FC personnel from nearby check post reached the site and removed the injured from the scene. They were sent to Quetta for treatment. On the way Cleaner Hashmatullah succumbed to his injuries.

MINI CINEMA BUSTED: Chaman police busted a mini cinema and arrested eight viewers including some children. Police recovered 6 TV sets and a large number of vulgar CDs.
