One man killed in Dukki firing

QUETTA, Jan 21: A person was killed and a passerby injured in a firing incident in Dukki area of Balochistan on Thursday.

As per reports, unidentified people opened indiscriminate firing on Rahim Khan at cattle market of Dukki town and escaped from the scene after committing crime. As a result, Rahim Khan sustained critical wounds and succumbed to his injuries while a passerby identified as Shahabuddin received serious bullet injures. Deceased and injured were shifted to hospital where doctors referred injured to Dera Ghazi Khan for further treatment.  Motive behind the incident is stated to be old enmity.

Local police handed over body to heirs after completing legal formalities and started investigation into the incident.
