Paiman Project providing full cooperation regarding maternal facilities: Dr. Nabila Ali
GWADAR: The chief of an NGO, ‘Paiman’ Project of Balochistan, Dr. Nabila Ali has assured that her organization was providing full cooperation to ministry of health, regarding maternal health and facilities.
Addressing an event held Thursday here at district civil hospital Gwadar, under joint auspices of ” Save the Child” and Paiman, JSI Dr. Nabila Ali also stressed that mothers should be given special and due care during pregnancy, especially providing her with best medical care and food.
She also wanted proper and due medication, and regular checkups for a safe and easy delivery, and informed that latest advanced technology, costing Rs. 4.5 crores, would be installed in DHQ hospital in order to provide better maternity facility for women.
She also informed that in accordance with government’s resolve to provide employment to Balochis, 14 matric-qualified girls were already undergoing an 18-month training course in mid-wifery in Agha Khan hospital of Karachi, who would soon come back to Gwadar to perform their duties.
The event was also addressed by district health officer, Gwadar, Dr. Nazeer Ahmad, Paiman’s JSI Director, Dr. Amanullah Khan, MNCH’s Dr. Farooq Akhtar, and additional secretary health, Balochistan, Dr. Naseer Baloch.
