Police impound a vehicle for bearing fake number plate

GWADAR: Police in Gwadar impounded a vehicle of US Consulate in Karachi for bearing a fake number plate here on Wednesday.

According to police sources, three persons were traveling in a land cruiser from Turbat to Gwadar.

When they entered in the limits of Gwadar district police stopped the vehicle at check post for bearing a fake number plate.

During the search a number plate of US Consulate in Karachi was recovered from the vehicle.

Vehicle and its inmates were taken into custody by police.

Police authorities said they had contacted US authorities in Karachi for confirmation of vehicle and people and they would be released after necessary investigation.
