Baloch Hal Monitoring Desk

QUETTA: Senior leader of Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) Raza Rabbani, while staging a token walkout from the senate, said Lyari is the hub of PPP and operation only in Lyari is unacceptable.
He further said operation should be conducted all over the city against criminals. MQM and PPP are being used in the incidents of Karachi, he added.
It is important to mention here that senator Safdar Abbasi, Khalid Soomro, Jan Jamali, Ismail Baledi, Lashkari Raisani also participated in the walkout.
Commenting on the recent operation in Lyari, Rabbani said action should be taken against criminals across the city.
He lashed out at British Foreign Secretary David Miliband for making statement on Karachi incidents. Rabbani said that Miliband has no right to comment on our internal affairs.
He said peace is also connected to economy. Slogan of ‘roti, kapra aur makaan’ should be fulfilled practically.
He said the presence of foreigners and non-diplomatic elements remains a main problem, as we don’t even know who is living in our neighborhood.
Rabbani said weak institutions are also the reason of country’s prevailing problems, however, acting on Charter of Democracy can solve this problem.
