Rain stops supply to NATO through Chaman

CHAMAN: Rain at night between Saturday and Sunday has created accumulation of water on road passing through Kosak Top, putting a halt to supply of goods and oil to NATO forces in Afghanistan.

According to police, present road condition caused by raining is not suitable for heavy traffic and as a result, trawlers, and big coaches have been stopped near Kosak Top. However, road has been opened for small vehicles.

It may be mentioned that Kosak highway is under construction and in case of rain lashing, heavy traffic does not pass on it.
