SIBI: Aghaz e Huqooq Balochistan package and NFC award is positive headway for the people of the province but it is no solution to problems and more steps are needed.

This was stated by Secretary General Jamiat Ulemae Islam Senator Maulana Abdul Ghafoor Hydri while speaking with media men and workers at Madrissa Arabia Qasimul Uloom at the inauguration of membership campaign here Sunday.

He said for the first time Centre announced NFC award considering Balochistan’s area, backwardness and scattered population as criteria. It is big achievement of Balochistan government he added.

He said federal government should recover missing and untraced persons and hold talks with Baloch leaders by ending cases.

He said killing of Nawab Akbar Bugti is biggest tragedy in Balochistan. Supreme Court should take suo moto notice in his case like NRO. He said under NRO 8 thousand people have benefited and majority of them are Bureaucrats while politicians are meager. He said strict accountability should be held against those taking benefit from NRO.  And national wealth looted by them should be recovered and deposited in the national exchequer.

He said terrorism is atop in our country destabilizing our country. Black Water is involved in destabilizing the law and order situation. It is also involved in target killings in Balochistan he added.

He called for ending mutual differences for meeting challenges of India for the progress of the country.
