Bandits shot dead a person, trader abducted

QUETTA: Two persons were killed and one other sustained injuries and a known trader of Quetta was abducted on gun point here on Sunday.

According to details, two armed motorcyclists held the owner of an electric shop on Alibuy Road in the main city area and demanded cash and belonging. Upon offering resistance, the armed robbers opened indiscriminate fire that resulted into the killing of owner of the shop Amanullah Marri while injuries to his worker Abdul Khaliq. However the attackers snatched his mobile and cash before escaping from the scene.

In another incident police found a dead body of 29 year old packed in a sack from Sirki Road within the jurisdiction of Industrial police station. After conducting the autopsy, the doctors declared that the young man was severely tortured before being shot him dead with three bullets.

Police registered the cases in all incidents and started investigation.

In another incident, Haji Ahmad Ali, the owner of Ahmad General Store was abducted by four armed persons riding a Suzuki van. The trader who is known figure of the provincial capital was entering into his store when the armed persons waiting in the van held him on gun point and forcibly took him along with them in the van.

Meanwhile, workers of Balochistan Trader Association blocked Jinnah Road and brunt tyres to protest against incidents of abducting for ransom and demanded of the government for immediate recovery of Haji Ahmed Ali.
