BSO Azad holds long march against occupation of Degree College
QUETTA: The Baloch Students Organization (BSO) staged a protest rally against the occupation of Degree College Quetta by paramilitary forces here on Tuesday.
The rally started from Quetta Press Club, passed through several roads before reaching at Degree College where they blocked the road, suspending traffic for few hours.
Scores of Students, including male and female, participated in the rally. They were carrying placards and banners. They chanted slogan against the security forces and demanding release of arrested political activists as war prisons.
While addressing the rally, president of BSO (Azad) Shal zone, Shah Zaib Baloch alleged that many of missing persons were detained inside Degree College and were being tortured by paramilitary force.
“Four thousand security personnel have been deployed at Degree College for four months. They have damaged class rooms which caused suspension of education activities in College”. He added.
He said that the massive protest rally was aimed to attract international organizations’ attention towards the Balochistan issue, where human rights violation is being carried by the security forces.
