Gaddani Customs recover 2 tonnes of Charas

HUB: Gaddani Customs in a raid on a truck recovered more than two tones of high quality Charas and foiled its smuggling to foreign country by sea.

According to details, Additional Collector Customs Gaddani Ali Sher Bhahen was tipped that an international gang of smugglers was planning to smuggle by sea a large quantity of narcotics from Balochistan Coast 50 Km from Karachi.

A strict vigilance of the area was started. Today a suspected truck was searched in Bhwani area of Hub. It led to the seizure of more than 2.80 tonnes of high quality Charas from its secret cavities. Truck was impounded along with the contraband.
