Hand grenade defused

QUETTA: Bomb disposal squad on Sunday defused a hand grenade hurled by unidentified people on a marble factory within the jurisdiction of Shalkot police station Quetta, said police.

Unknown people lobbed a hand grenade on factory owned by Muhammad Tariq located at Wali Jet area. Grenade landed inside factory and luckily did not explode.  Police and bomb disposal squad were called which defused grenade.

Police has registered a case against unidentified persons and started investigation.
