Kashmir solidarity day observed

QUETTA: Durable peace in South Asia can only be guaranteed if the issue of Kashmir is resolved in accordance with the wishes of Kashmiris and resolution of the United Nations.

This was stated by the speakers including Balochistan Education Minister Tahir Mehmood Khan, All Parties Hurriat Conference central leader Tahir Masood Khan and Jamiat e Islami provincial amir Abdul Matin Akhnzada during their addresses to a huge rally held to mark the Kashmir Solidarity Day here the provincial capital.

The rally was taken from the office of the district nazim which culminated into a gathering in front of the Quetta Press Club.

The participants of the rally were carrying placards and banners inscribed with the slogans demanding an immediate end to Indian atrocities and human rights violation by the occupying troops and resolution of the issue in accordance with the wishes of Kashmiris.

They participants of the rally later dispersed peacefully.
