NATO supply caravan came under attack

CHAMAN: An oil tanker was badly damaged in bomb attack and firing on NATO supply vehicles caravan along Chaman by pass here Friday.

According to details, a NATO supply vehicles caravan was passing through Chaman by Pass here Friday. An unknown person hurled an explosive material on an oil tanker and opened fire. It made a hole in the tanker. The oil started flowing on the road. Driver sped away the tanker and took it at Pak-Afghan border.

Unknown persons opened fire and pelted stones smashing windowpanes of several tankers and trailers.

DPO Zia Mandokhel told that security of NATO supply vehicles is vested in FC yet he was conducting an inquiry.

TRUCK OVERTURNS: A speeding truck overturned in front of Chaman Police Lines along Quetta road here today.

According to details, a speeding Mazda truck turned turtle in front of Police lines here today while saving a motorcyclist. Truck driver Muhammad Alam sustained serious injuries. Police reached the site and arrested two riders of motorcycle.-PPI
