PTI holds protest demo against hike in PoL prices

QUETTA: Pakistan Tehrik-e-Insaf held a protest demonstration in front of the Quetta Press Club against increase in Petroleum Prices.

The demo was led by district President PTI Daud Khan.

Addressing the protestors Daud Khan said that everyday increase in the petroleum and electricity prices is taking a toll on the poor people of the country. He said that when the prices of the oil drops in the international market the government reduces the PoL prices by mere Rs 1or 2. But when the rate increases in the international market the government is quick to increase the price by Rs 8 to 10, which directly affects the poor people of this country.

He said that due to the recent increase in PoL prices the prices of items of everyday are have also increased.
