3 dead, 24 hurt in Sohbatpur road accident

DERA MURAD JAMALI: At least three people including two children dIed while 24 others sustained serious injuries when a speedy bus overturned near Sohbatpur, Monday.

According to local police, the bus was carrying scores of people who were returning to their homes after participating in a marriage party in Phul area of the district.

As a result three people identified as Irfan (7), Muhammad Yaqub (8) and Noor Ahmed (25) died on the spot while 24 others including Khan Muhammad, Ghulam Rasool, Rabia, Fozia, Mah Bano and others sustained serious injuries and were admitted to hospital.

Local police is investigating the matter.
