BHC takes suo motto notice of lawyer’s kidnapping

QUETTA: Balochistan High Court has taken Suo Motto notice over the kidnapping of BHC lawyer Iftikhar-ul-Haq and asked the Home Secretary, CCPO Quetta, Advocate General to appear before the Court on March 29.

Chief Justice of BHA Justice Qazi Feiz Issa has issued notices to the concerned officials.

Unidentified people kidnapped a high court lawyer, Iftikhar-ul-Haq, on 19 March when he was going to drop his children at school on Fatima Jinnah Road.

Lawyers in Balochistan have been strongly protesting against the kidnapping of their colleague.
