FC rescues DCO, DPO from enraged mob

QUETTA: The Frontier Corps (FC) rescued the District Coordination Officer (DCO) and District Police Officer (DPO) Jaffarabad from an enraged mob near Bulaedi Rice Mill on Wednesday during the by-polls.

According to the details, a large number of people had blocked the road and held demonstration near Bulaedi Rice mill against the alleged raging pre-poll.

Angry protester resorted to aerial firing when DPO and DCO went over to pacify them.

FC squad reached at spot as soon as they were called to handle the situation which was getting out of control.

Both officials were safely taken to FC Camp and protesters were dispersed. The top district officials appreciated the efforts of the Frontier Corps to come to their rescue on the right time.
