Foreign oriented Rekodick project not to be approved
QUETTA: Chief Minister Balochistan, Nawab Muhammad Aslam Raisani has said that his Provincial government would not approve the Rekodick project, because it was a foreign project.
Talking to a delegation of journalists led by BUJ (Balochistan Union of Journalists) president Abdul Khaliq here on Saturday, he also announced that the renowned Saindak project would also fall under the jurisdiction of the Provincial government.
He declared that all projects including Gwadar Seaport project were being made in best interests of province, while he also lauded the recently concluded NFC Award, in which Balochistan’s share had been increased, two folds.
He said that the federal government had also waived off more than Rs.17 billion loan, which was a credit of his provincial government.
He claimed that the government had taken steps to ensure that all the benefits of natural resources should trickle down to provincial masses; an endeavor, which has begun bearing fruit.
He also assured the delegation of journalists about early allotment of plots for journalist community.
