One killed, 5 hurt in two explosions

QUETTA: A youth was killed and 5 others sustained injuries in two separate explosions in Dera Bugti and Kohlu districts on Friday.

In the first incident, the landmine was planted near Hopo colony, which exploded killing a ten-year-old Faisal Khan on the spot while injuring two others identified as Ghulam Hussein and Sona Khan.

Police squad rushed to the spot soon after the blast and took body of the deceased and the injured to nearby hospital.

In another incident, unknown persons place an explosive device inside a tea stall owned by Jalat Khan Zarkoon in Kohlu. Three persons, identified as Sarwar Jan, Ghulam Yasin and Haji Karam Khan, were wounded and they were hospitalized for treatment.

The blast also completely destroyed the single story building.

Cases have been registered separately and an investigation is being carried by law enforcement agencies.
