BLF kills alleged spy in Quetta
QUETTA, April 5: Some unknown armed men gunned down a person, suspected to be working for the government agencies, in provincial capital here on Monday night.
According to police sources, Syed Ahmed Shah, who was a worker in Balochistan Medical Complex Hospital’s canteen, received multiple wounds at Brewery Road within the jurisdiction of Brewery police station. Resultantly, he succumbed to his injuries instantly. The attackers managed to escape from the scene after committing the crime. Police moved the body to BMC Hospital for autopsy.
Sources say apparently the incident is a part of target-killing spree, however, investigation is underway to ascertain real motive behind the murder.
Meanwhile, a spokesman of Baloch Liberation Front (BLF), Gowaram Baloch, has claimed responsibility of the killing, saying Ahmed was spying for government agencies.
