Grenade attack on PIA official’s house

QUETTA, April 18: The house of a Pakistan International Airline (PIA)  official was attacked with hand grenade in the provincial capital on Sunday night.

According to police sources, unidentified armed people hurled a hand grenade at the house of PIA assistant manager Haji Yaseen, located at Gul colony on Killi Qambarni Road. Hand grenade landed inside the house and exploded with a big bang, scattering windowpanes of the house, however, no loss of life was occurred in the blast. The blast sent a wave of panic and fear among the people of the area.

On getting information, police rushed to the site and cordoned off the area.

Police has registered a case against unknown persons and started investigation.
