Hindu trader, teenage boy kidnapped in Quetta

QUETTA, April 2: A Hindu trader and a teenager boy were kidnapped from the provincial capital in broad daylight here on Friday.

In the first incident, unidentified armed men abducted a Hindu trader, Nanak Das at gun point from Arif Road of Quetta when he was opening his shop. Kidnappers drove him away towards unknown location.

Similarly, in anther incident, Azamtullah, 15, was on his way in Killi Goharabad area of the city when he was kidnapped by unknown kidnappers.

Separate cases of the incidents have been registered and investigations are underway.

It may be mentioned here that incidents of kidnapping for ransom in Balochistan particularly in Quetta are on the rise while authorities concerned have failed to bust the gangs of kidnappers.
