Man shot dead

KHUZDAR: Unknown assailants gunned down a man in Khuzdar,  here on Friday.

Police officials identified the victim as Malik Riaz who was driving home when unknown assailants ridding a motorcycle opened fire on his care near National Highway and fled. Riaz, who is contractor by profession, received multiple bullet wounds on upper torso later died in the hospital.

Police rushed to the spot and took the injured to Khuzdar Divisional Hospital where he was pronounced dead.

Police termed the incident as a case of target killing. A case has been registered and further investigation is underway. Victim belonged to central Punjab and settled in Balochistan.
