Three people killed in Balochistan violence

QUETTA, April 18:  Three people were killed in two separate incidents of violence in Sibbi and Qila Saifullah towns of Balochistan on Sunday.

In the first incident, unidentified armed people opened indiscriminate firing on Qadir Bakhsh and Ali Nawaz at Railway colony in Sibbi town and escaped the scene after committing the crime. As a result, they received critical wounds and succumbed to their injuries.

Police handed over bodies to heirs after completing legal formalities and started investigation into the incident. Motive behind the killing is yet to be ascertained.

In the second incident, a person was gunned down in Qila Saifullah when unknown assailants sprayed volley of bullets on a person at Koza adda area of Qila Saifullah and fled the scene. Police shifted the body to hospital for postmortem, however, identity of victim and cause of killing could not be known immediately.

Police have registered cases of both incidents and started investigation.
