Two more target killed in Quetta
QUETTA, April 2: Two people were killed and two others wounded apparently in incident of target killing in provincial capital here on Friday, police said.
Unidentified armed assailants riding a motorbike opened indiscriminate firing at a barber’s shop located at Ghousabad area within the jurisdiction of Satellite town police station, killing two persons identified as Abdul Rasheed and Wasim on the spot and seriously wounding two other customers.
The attackers managed to flee the site after committing the crime. The injured were rushed to the hospital for treatment. They were identified as Nasir Shah and Shohib Ahmed.
Soon after the incident, police and other personnel of law enforcement agencies reached the site and cordoned off the area “It is apparently an incident of target killing, however, investigation is underway to ascertain real cause of killings”, a senior police official said.
The deceased were stated to be belonged to Punjab. No group has claimed the responsibility for the killings.
Police has registered a case and started investigation.
