2 killed in Mastung firing

QUETTA: Two persons have been killed in an incident of firing in Mastung town of Balochistan, some 50 kilometers south of Quetta.

Official sources said two persons identified as identified as Babu Hassan and Abdul Samad Lehri were on their way to their respective offices when unidentified persons riding a motorcycle opened firing on them and fled the scene. Both of them received multiple bullet wounds which caused their instant dead. Local Police rushed to the spot soon after the incident and took the bodies to nearby hospital for autopsy.

A case has been registered against unknown persons and further investigation is underway.

No organization has claimed the responsibility till filing this report.

A sectarian group Lashkar-e-Jhangvi , claimed responsibility for the killings.
